Cannot Uninstall Office 2003

This is Office 2003 running on Windows XP SP3. Since past couple of days I’m facing some problem with Office suite hence decided to re-install the same. The problem am here is I’m not able to uninstall Office from my system. Whenever I try to uninstall it says:

"The installation source for this product is not available. Verify that the source exists and that you can access it."

The reason why I want to remove is not important, I wanted to know why it is not allowing me to uninstall the same? Any idea?

Is this your home local PC or is it connected to any network? I’m asking this because you need access to the installation files in order to remove it and if it was network install then need the same network connection now. And if it is local PC then just try inserting the installation disk in your CD/dvd drive and run the uninstaller. It should help. Thank you very much for the help Amitgujaran. You are correct. Yet it was Network install but that name doesn’t exist anymore. Also I don’t have Office installation disk with me.

Can you please tell what can I do in such situation? Many thanks.
