Windows Installer runs everytime I open an Office program or file

The issue happens after I installed and then uninstalled a Beta 3 version of Office 2007. The installe will try to install and configure Office 2003 Pro 3-4 times when ever I open an office file or program, even each time I read an email in OE. I normally just get the program or file or email opened. Can anyone please help? Thanks.

I dont think there is any Office 2007 Beta 3 released yet. Also, you can try to use the Windows Installer Cleanup utility.

i have similar problems too .just started a week ago.Do you think its because of virus.Started after I used my colleague Thumb drive at my pc but could not remember the name of the virus detected.managed to clean it.Then I use the same thumb drive on my laptop, my laptop also are having the same problem, which is not networked.
