Office 2007 beta 2 french version - 25.05.06 install exe file

I am trying to install the Office 2007 beta 2 french version 25.05.06 from the install exe file which is giving some sort of error to me, can anyone please help? Thanks.

I am also getting same problem even though I have tried many things like, install it from uncompressed setup and then remove all Office 2003 and then trying with Office 2007 english version but still getting the 1706 error and then running windows update and install all the new update, but still nothing is working?

Even I am getting the same error message with this French version of the Office suit.

I have found a way to install this part of the package. We have to just run the program and wait till it will tell us about the error 1706. After that we have to go to - C:\Documents and Settings\YourUserName\Local Settings\Temp\OWP45.tmp. Here check if the temp folder OWP45.tmp might have got a different name. Just enter into it and then you have got the separate folder for each program like Word and Excel so on, and then enter in each one and run the installer of each program and then go into the folder Pro.WW and run ProWW installation. The programs should be working except for Outlook 2007, this I dont know why? Anyways, all the rest worked for me.
