Event ID 1904 HHCTRL

Every time I access help in any Office 2003 app I get 10-20 error messages
Event ID 1904 --cannot find description for HHCTRL---listed in Event
Manager. I am running MCE 2005 and Office Standard 2003 retail. I read
somewhere that some of the help files may not have been properly updated,
but I don't know where I saw it or what the solution to fix it was. I just
remember that it had something to do with Office. I am running Service Pak
2 and MCE 2005 Rollup 2 and all updates with the exception of Framework 2.0.

Could this error have something to do with Framework 2.0 not being
installed?

Any help would be appreciated. I have restored from scratch numerous times
and always end up with the same issue.

Certain Web sites and HTML Help features may not work after you install security
update 896358 or security update 890175

Thank you for the response. I have read the article, but it is a little
more involved than I would like to tackle. It seems that although the error
messages are occuring in Event Manager I still have been able to access the
sites. So I guess it will be OK if left as is. I was worried about these
errors causing problems later, but so far I have not really seen any
consequences of leaving as is so for now I guess that is what I will do. I
have printed the article for later reference.
