Is there a way to setup Bisection method in Microsoft Excel

Need help urgently with the following.
    • Need help with the layout of my data in Excel 2007.
    • Aso need help with writing formulas in Excel 2007.
    • Is there an Excel 207 VBA Models package that I can download to assist me with Bisection, Newton's, Secant, False Position, Modified Newton's, Steffensen's, and Aitken's Method.

At the very real risk of getting in over my head here. I am NOT a mathematician, but if you can provide the formulas you need to set up in terms I understand (and remember, higher math such as calculus is not in my vocabulary. I know, I'm a barbarian, but such is life.) All that you've asked for is pretty much beyond the scope of this forum, i.e. layout of data, unless someone can come up with links to point you to what you're asking for in the way of modeling formulas and such.

I have a small sample which can help you for the same. Here I am trying to display only 6 significant digits in Excel. This can be done from Format > Cell > Number > Category Number > Decimal Places > 6. In the same way you can also put the percent sign in Format > Cells > Number > Category Percent. Then find the root of f (x) = x ^ 10 to 1 using the bisection method with a = 0, b = 1.3; Tol = 0.01. The root of the function is approximated with an error 1.000391 0.01. As can be seen from the graph, the exact root function is 1, but with eight iterations is reached 1.000391. If you continue with more iterations, it could reach a value close to 1 even more accurate, but the error would then be less than 0.01, which is 1%.
