Need template for Drivers Hours Timesheet and Forumula in Excel

I am a lorry driver by trade and wish to create a Timesheet in Excel 2002. My problem is that I although I can calculate the hours that I have worked on a daily basis, I cannot find or work out a formula that will calculate my daily rest period, (Rest period is calculated from time finished and time started next day) and the total hours that I worked for the week. Can anyone help me please.

Let's say your start time in A2, and end time in B2 and A3 is your start time on the next day. Try the following =B2-A2 (total work time in that day) =A3-B2+(B2>A3) (total rest time).

Try the formula. Try this: [hh] "h" mm The [hh] gives you a countdown in hours without 24 hours = 1 day the "h" allows you to have a type display 25h38, mm is the minutes display. To enter a negative time in a cell EXCEL: you must first select "1904" (in Tools / Options / Calculation tab), then give one format to the cell type 'hh: mm' for example, and enter negative time like this - "0:30" for-30minutes
