How to put formula in Text Box in Microsoft Excel

I have a chart that I added a text box which I would like to reference a cell which contains a formula. Suppose cell c25 contains the formula =sum(C2:C23). Is it possible for the text box to reference cell c25.

A text box from the control toolbox has a linked cell property and will display the contents of the linked cell. I do not think you can add or use a formula or cell reference in that. This might be not possible.

It is possible. You can link a cell to text box in excel. All you need to do is insert a text box. Do not click inside it. Just choose the box and press F2. Then choose a cell reference. That's all. The text box is no linked to the cell.
