    How to make a Schematic in Microsoft Excel

    I am doing a lab for EE and i am suppose to make a schematic diagram of a three way switch. i already know what this schematic looks like but i don't know how to make it on the computer. Any help would be great.

    Its not ideal, but you can open up the Drawing toolbar, and use the items in the Auto Shapes drop-down. In that case Powerpoint is a little better than Word for patterns.

    You can make that first by drawing a demo on the paper. Then in Excel with the help of basic shapes you can create your own diagram. Remember that Schematic diagram consist of some special characters which you might not find in Microsoft Excel. For that you will need to download the same or you might need to look for any ready to use tool which comes with all the package to make a schematic.
