Click START on the Windows Task Bar and select SETTINGS/CONTROL PANEL. Double click on the REGIONAL OPTIONS icon and click the NUMBERS tab in the displayed dialog box. The last combobox is MEASUREMENT. Change this to METRIC.

It can be done from the following section. You just need to go in Control Panel > Regional Options > Numbers > measurement system (metric and U.S. measurements). Try here to change the inch to centimeter settings. This will work out properly.
