Getting unexpected error denoting that Auto-recover not working in Excel

This has been happening to a user on every Excel worksheet she opens. This pops up "Unexpected error has occurred - AutoRecover has been disabled for the session of excel". She has been recently upgraded to Office 2007 SP2 running on XP SP3. I checked online "google" and it says to change the place where the autorecovery is saved. I did that but it is still happening. Please let me know what I am doing wrong.

In the Excel Options in the Save section, you can set the AutoRecover feature. By default, every 10 minutes, a saving is made. Check if the file location exists and is registered there you have full read-write access to this location.

If there is any major issue then to get your file you need to use some kind of recovery tool. This recovery tool will help you to fix the files which are damaged. Try to run system restore for a while and if possible run repair setup.
