Office 2007 Home and Student License key re-activation

I am having a copy of Office 2002 Home and Student version. I have installed it on the desktop computer and laptop and on I want to install it on 1 more laptop. I recently replaced the motherboard of the computer and had to clean install XP. When I was about to reinstall Office 2007 on the desktop computer and then activate it, then it would use up the last license activation and then I would have to wait 90 days before installing it on the other laptop. Incase you are allowed to re-activate every 90 days on a different computer, then how does it know which computer you are upgrading or does the 90 days start from the first activation and then roll to the next one to start counting the 90 days from? Thanks for any help.

I dont think it does. The license is for 3 computers and not 3 installs, you can uninstall and reinstall as many times you would like as long as the software is only installed on 3 computers at one time. Hope this helps.
