As my title says, I’m using Windows 7 system with Office 2007. The only file to appear in the list is NormalEmail.dotm. So it's not the same. The normal.dotm isn't in the list of available templates.

As far as I know if we have opened MS Word atleast one also, Normal.dotm will exists on our computer for sure. Most probably it use to be in Hidden folder. So first make sure you have set windows explorer to show hidden files. Once done, Open MS Word, press Ctrl+O. In the upper left part of the Open dialog box, do you have a left panel where it says Microsoft Word, and under that, it says Templates? If so, Normal.dotm should be in that Templates folder. Hope it helps.

U can find the templates dir here:
c:\users\John Doe\app data\roaming\microsoft\templates
& 2 keep it simple just copy the normal.dotm files u want 2 this dir & u should b str8. I h8 when ppl make it more complicated than it has 2 b.
