It wont accept my product key number

I finished the trial time for my Office program and now when I want to
install it, it will not accept my product key number that is attached to the
bottom of my brand new computer. It says the last letter "Z" is not an
acceptable letter or number or something.

The key fixed to your PC is, as it clearly states is for Windows.
Once the Trial has expired you need to uninstall it together with the
Activation assistant via Add/Remove.
Then go and buy the version of Office you require
(You will not lose any Data - amazon.com is one place to buy from)

Because the number on the bottom of your brand new computer is the product key
for Windows, not for Office. The key for Office will be on the Office
packaging somewhere or, if you ordered it online, in the email you received
when you purchased it.
