How can I reset my keyboard?

There is some problem with my Office suite. My keyboard acts weird while working with any Office Application. For example: the " should be above the 2, but is actually on the '@ key and vice versa. I think I need to remap the keyboard but have no idea how to do the same. SO I request you guys to please help me and let me know how to fix this. Many thanks.

Are you sure your keyboard is working fine in all other apps? Did you tried notepad or other software where you need to type and is it working fine? Until you confirm I don’t think the problem is with Office but it is your Regional settings in Control Panel. So just go to Control Panel and click Regional and Language Settings, click on Customize on the 'Languages' Tab, clcik on details. Here choose your country and select OK,.

Re: How can I reset my keyboard?

    Hec2, 5 need th5s, t66.
    sorry, hadn't loaded on-screen keyboard.

My normal keyboard seems to have FN stuck on. Everything displays its FN counterpart when I type. Like so:

This is the sentence with on-screen keyboard
    Th5s 5s the sentence w5th64t 6n-screen 2eyb6ard

...Now two people have the problem.

You accidentally hit your NumLock key. Hit it again and the problem will be fixed. You know this is the problem when you type "keyboard" and what gets displayed is "2eyb6ard".
