| microsoft document imaging saving as a pdf
I'm scanning pages, text and pictures. Want the ability to edit all, but also mustsave it as a pdf. When I scan it goes to Microsoft Document Imaging page where I can edit all I want, but try to save and it will only save as a ttif or mdi. Please help I know it must be able to happen, but I don't know how. I also have microsoft office 07 and when I tell microsoft document imager to sent to word the pages get all screwed up and I can use them without totally redoing them. |

You can't save the file as a .pdf with MDI. There is a Save As .PDF add-in that you can download and install. Just so you know - you can't edit a .pdf with Word. You will have to edit the original document and recreate the .pdf file. -- JoAnn Paules MVP Microsoft [Publisher] Tech Editor for "Microsoft Publisher 2007 For Dummies" "Moose" <Moose@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:E38EB4E6-3727-4E25-A5A7-DD110E504E3F@microsoft.com... > I'm scanning pages, text and pictures. With the proper software installed, you can PRINT to PDF, not save. Acrobat, Jaws PDF, CutePDF, PrimoPDF, GhostScript ... there are all sorts of options, priced from $0 to in$ane Please help I know it must be able to happen, but I don't know > how.
