offlb.exe freezing computer

I have installed Office 2007 recently. After that my pc seems to freeze a lot. When I am trying to move the mouse then nothing happens and then suddenly the mouse appears somewhere else, and all the software have also become very slow. After doing a little testing I found that by killing the offlb.exe process my computer returns to normal. Can anyone tell me why is this happening and how can I disable this process once and for all. I have also applied the SP1 and SP2 to office and Windows XP is completely updated. Thanks
