Can I upgrade Office 2003 Professional OEM to Office 2007 Standard

I need some help here to upgrade from Office 2003 to Office 2007. I am trying to find out some easy for the same. I am just confused between upgrade and fresh installation. I am not able to understand what should I do here. Now the version of Office 2003 which is installed on my system is a OEM edition. Directly on that is it possible to get Office 2007.

You can do that. But if you are still doubtful you can contact Microsoft to get some information on the same. I do not think there will be some difference between a regular and between a OEM software. What Microsoft needs is to verify that the software you are having legit. Then only you can move ahead to go with the upgrade. You can run a upgrade wizard to find out whether your system is capable or not.

Do not go for upgrades. Buy a retail disc of Microsoft office and install that in your system. That will be much better. Because if you upgrade your office edition then there are chances of errors. And if you simply install office 2007 directly you can also keep office 2003 with you. So that can be use for old documents. I did the same thing. I bought a dvd of office 2007 and installed that. It is working quiet fine know.
