Word File dropdown menu missing Print option

My Mom runs Word on her approx 4-5 year old iMac-OS Panther. I'm not sure
which version of office--but same age as computer

recently the drop down menu from File in the menu bar is missing the Print
option. Not just suppressed. Not there at all. Other usual options still
there. "control+P" doesn't work either.

All is ok in other applications she uses--e-mail, internet browser.

any ideas?

Since this group is primarily Windows based Office users, I'd suggest
the following. Find out what version it actually is being used, and then
pose your question to the folks in the Mac.Office group. They probably
will know what the Mac issue is causing the hiccup with default print.
