Office 2007 Spell Check in PowerPoint using UK dictionary not the

I have installed office 2007 on my system running windows Vista Business x64. My problem is that PowerPoint 2007 spell checker is using UK dictionary. It flags the word "color" and suggested "color". As far as i am aware all office 2007 applications should use the same proofing tools? Correct me if i am wrong?

Yes you are right, all office 2007 applications should use the same proofing tools but you can set the language of a selection. I guess you might be having automatic language detection enabled and MS word might be thinking that the you are working on a document in British. Just go in Word, click on Review tab > language button. In case you use one language, then you can select the same and uncheck automatic language detection.

Just make sure that you are saving the settings before exiting the windows. In case you have any query further then you can feel free to ask.
