Re: FOLLOW-UP: Office Activation Wizard...

Activation wizard: uninstall it
Word; If you are installing any Office suite it would seem superfluous, so
why not uninstall it.
Install 2003 first, and update prior to installing 2007 - only a single
instance of Outlook can be installed.
Maybe ammend any 2003 shortcuts prior to installing 2007 eg Word>Word2003

Re: FOLLOW-UP: Office Activation Wizard...

My problem is I don't know how to uninstall it. It doesn't appear in the
equivalent of the add/remove programs menu in Vista... and there is nothing
in the start menu regarding uninstalling it.

So how do I go about uninstalling the activation wizard???

FOLLOW-UP: Office Activation Wizard...

I have uninstalled the Student Edition of Office 2007 which came
preinstalled on a new HP... with the intention of installing a complete
version of 2003 and 2007.

The activation wizard remains on the new HP. Is it necessary to remove that
prior to installing 2003? If it is not removed... will it cause me
problems with the install of 2003 and 2007 (I have a purchased copy -- never
before installed.).

There is a copy of works on this new HP -- is that likely to be be any kind
of problem with the installations of 2003 - 2007?

Thanks...
