You will need to get a addon for that. When you want to save the files in pdf there is a pdf addon that will help you to save the file. You can get that from web. You can simply install that and then try to save in pdf. You can also get the same through windows update also. It will help you to save files in pdf without error. You can also try to run a repair setup to fix this kind of issue.

Message "Missing PDFMaker files" on Microsoft Office 2003 (Word, Excel, Publisher).
Remove Adobe PDF from the Disabled Items list in the Microsoft Office application.

To manage your Disabled Items list in a Microsoft Office application:
Open the Microsoft Office application (Word, Excel, Publisher).
Choose Help > About [the application name].
    Click Disabled Items.
Select Adobe PDF from the list, and then click Enable.
Quit the Microsoft Office application, and then restart it.

If the error message continues to appear after you enable Adobe PDF, then check the security level for macros in Word:

Choose Tools > Macro > Security.
In the Security dialog, click the Security tab.
    Choose Medium or High.
    Do one of the following:
If you chose Medium, then click OK.
If you chose High, then continue with steps 5 through 7.
    Click the Trusted Publishers tab.
Check Trust all installed add-ins and templates.
    Click OK.
PDFMaker and the right-click context menu should function again.

There are a 2 ways of doing this. This is the easy. Get used to it not working like it used to.
For "New Files" Click save - under file name - click beside "file type" (it should say "word document" click it, scroll down to PDF, save it. It will save the PDF to the location you choose, and keep the word document up to save as you choose.
For "Older Files" Open them, then click - save as- follow directions above.

2nd method the teck said may or may not work. In Word the the Acrobat tab is a 3rd party tab, and not there program. Adobe Acrobat loads it. So first uninstall both programs. Install word first, then Adobe. Adobe's program should pick it up and make the PDFmaker file work, or so he said, may or may not, its not there program to make work.
Good luck to you all. The first method saves the day till you have time to re-load the programs.
