Can't activate my microsoft office home & student 2007

I have been trying to activate Microsoft office home & student 2007 in my system. Whenever i click on activate, i get below error message saying

"A communication error has occurred. your request cannot process at this time. please try again in a few minutes".

I have tried activating it many times but i am welcomed with the same error message again and again. What can i do? what might be wrong in my case?? Please help me out as soon as possible.
