How to set up a hanging indent in Word 2007?

I would like to type a play using a hanging indent, that is, the names of the speakers set left, and the actual speech forming a line about 5 cms further right. Can anyone tell me how to do this thing? Thanks

You need to go on the Home tab in the Paragraph group, and then click the Dialog Box Lanucher, which might be arrow in the bottom right corner, to display the Paragraph diaload box. There you will find Hanging Indent in the Special drop down. Also, after you make your formatting changes, right click in the paragraph, point at Styles, click "Save selection as new Quick Style", name your style, and then click OK. It will add your formatting to the Quick Style gallery and enable you to quickly apply the formatting later in your document.
