Microsoft Office has not been installed for the current user.

I am not able to open any MS office applications. I get below error messages:

"Please wait while Windows configures MS Office Professional Hybrid 2007"

"MS Office has not been installed for the current user. Please run setup to install the application".

I get the second error message for most of the time. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling MS office but no avail.

Since you have mentioned that you get the second error for most of the time you can go through below article.

You receive a "Microsoft <Program_name> has not been installed for the current user" error message when you try to start an Office 2003 program or an Office XP program for the first time

Try out the resolution mentioned there and post back if that helps or not. If not then you can revert back to me for further help. Ill surely try to help you out with other possible solution.
