I recently lost the product key for Microsoft Office 2003 that I was having, can anyone please help me out to get a new one? Thanks for any help.

Can you tell us whether you have already installed it on your computer? Or did the copy of the Office come with your computer preinstalled already or did you purchase it from a software retailer?

What should I do in my situation, I bought a sony viao laptop a while back and it has microsoft office 2003, I was never able to use it because It said it needed a product key code but there was no product key code to be found among all the papers that came with the computer. Now I am also desperately needing to use the office program and I do not want to purchase it again since it came with my computer. Would the web sites you offered the person above benifit me as well, and what steps do i take to retrieve it? Thank you!

Well, you will have to contact Sony Support for the kind of issue that you are facing I am afraid so.

Yes, the Office Product that came with your pc might be a trial version which has by nw expired. So you will need to contact sony and they will also confirm you about the same. After that you will have to go out and but the Office version of your choice and before installing it, you have to remove the trial version which might be installed in your computer.

yup i just contacted sony and I am so pissed, its only a 60 trial of office! I paid $2000 for this computer and it didnt even come with office what a rip!

I think that you will have to contact the vendor from where you bought your laptop from for the code of the program.

You will also need to confirm to the sales person whether your laptop came with a full version of Office or not?
