I am getting "cannot empty Office clipboard" alarm

I am facing some error messages that states "cannot empty clipboard" even though clipboard is empty and I am not able to empty it nor see anything in it for Excel, Word or Outlook, where I am getting prompt. So therefore I am not able to copy and paste. I tried Detect and Repair for Excel, but that didnt work either. Any ideas?

Can you tell us what exactly happens when you encounter the message? Have you tried starting the Excel and did you try to copy as well? Can you tell us which version of Office are you using?

You can try to type "clipbrd" in the run box and then it will launch your clipboard program. You will then see a minimized window and then you can maximize it and delete all the contents if there is any.

goto start > Run and type winword /safe (for word) or outlook /safe (for outlook)
See if it works okay there. If it does, disable the extentions/addons to office.
