Hard drive crashed

My friend just gave me a Dell Optiplex GX520 Pentium D. He said the hard drive crashed while doing a software upgrade. I bought a new SATA HD for it. Question: Can I just replace the HD, load the Windows XP Pro disc and install the OS or is there more to it?

Thats all there is to it.

The optiplex is so easy to take apart, it shouldn't take very long to be up and running. Plus, ram is really cheap... only cost you around $40 to bump it to 2gb.
