Amd Athlon 64 3200+ compatible with Adobe Premier Elements

Hi Guys
I'm new to forums and only have a little kowledge of computers. I have just bought Adobe Premier Elements 4 and am having nothing but trouble. I am running a AMD Athlon 64 3200+ with 1 GB of ram and 200 GB hard drive. I have even had trouble installing the program due to autoplay not initiating and having to resort to openning it mannually only to have it install partially - could somebody please help I would really appreciate it.

did you check the cd or dvd media you are trying to install adobe software from ?

there should be no issue with the amd processor you are using. what cd/dvd writer are you using is running fine ?
