i tried removing the cmos battery but no use
it still asks for pasword

Thats not possible friend. I have never seen or heard this before. When you remove the CMOS battery, it means you reset the BIOS. And once BIOS is reset, there is no password in your system. Make sure you remove the CMOS rather than anything else.
