    Gigabyte Dual BIOS

Anybody here know anything about it? It's like having two BIOS chips that can flash the BIOS with two dissimilar versions and switch between them manually? How its work, I mean the process of working and many more, because I really not understood it properly. I just try to find out this on google and many other sites but just fail in this. So please if anyone here has any idea about this than, please provide me.

10 years ago, engineers developed the unique GIGABYTE Dual BIOS solution to automatically restore your system and run again without requiring you to do anything. GIGABYTE Dual BIOS are unit’s features 2 physical BIOS ROMs included onboard. A BIOS chip acts as the "Home" or the BIOS your system uses the boot process. And the second BIOS chip acts as the "Backup", set to the factory version. If the BIOS "Main" fails or stops working, the unit "Backup" mechanically, takes over your system initializes a waste of time with no or very small.

Dual BIOS process is completely automatic. When you find out you have a trouble, just require closing your system and starting again. The GIGABYTE Dual BIOS does the rest. When it detects a firmware BIOS, the BIOS "Backup" first restore the BIOS "Main" to its original factory and everything is back to normal as well. If the BIOS failure due to damage to hardware, the BIOS "Backup" assume the role of the BIOS "Main".

    Re: Gigabyte Dual BIOS

With a generous Gigabyte news surprised us this morning by stating that from now on all motherboards include two BIOS to ensure the end user in case of failure or a poorly done flash. Hopefully other manufacturers copied far and start to see more boards dual BIOS entry or midrange. I feel good that they have dual bios, but I like more a new flash system, and recovery of the bios did something like ECS, connecting via USB to another PC, you can recover the corrupt or bad bios flash. Although some time had the idea of a removable bios, can be placed in a converter to usb (type Pen Drive) and flash, clear the bios with no problems.
