    PC-4200 and PC2-4200 RAM DIFFERENCE?

Hey friends Now I want to upgrade my RAM to 2 gigs and my computer currently has 2 sticks of 512mb DDR2 PC 4200 memory. On newegg, PC 4200 is substantially more expensive for 2 gigs as opposed to PC2, I want to know that What is the PC-4200 and PC2-4200 RAM DIFFERENCE and will PC2 fit in my motherboard?

    Thanks friends

Can you plz post motherboard model ?

PC2-4200 is low end DDR2 while PC-4200 is high end DDR. Only 1 type will work in your board, even if you have a board that supports DDR and DDR2 you can only use 1 type at a time.
