Poor performance on Asrock H87 motherboard

I had just done with setup of windows 7 64bit on Asrock H87. I am trying to build up a HTPC. But I am having a bit issue with the sleep mode. The system goes to sleep mode automatically when not used for 15minutes. Later on when I try to turn it back on it is not responding. I have to restart the pc. The resume thing is not working fine. The board is not very old to give this kind of problem. What should I do.

Go with bios update. This will help you to fix the problem. You can visit the official website and download the latest bios version. Just update that in your system and it will help you to get rid of the problem you are facing. Bios update fixes a huge amount of issues. The flashing process is simple. You can do that through a windows based utility or you can do that through a usb bootable media. Check the process before applying a update.

There are two ways you can fix the issue. First you can disable power management in windows. You can let the pc work always even when it is idea. You can do that from Control panel > power option. Second as mentioned above. Adding a fresh bios. Sleep issues are also associated with faulty ram. If the ram is not appropriate your system might to boot back properly. You can try verifying your am with memtest.
