Intel Quad Core pc fan runs and stops many time

I was cleaning my pc. I wiped out the entire dust from it. The system has a Intel Quad core cpu with MSI board and 8GB ram. There is a huge 750w psu with additional fan at the bottom. After cleaning I reconnected everything. The cpu fan spin and then stop. And then again it spin. This things goes for hours bout the system does not boot. I am not able to find the reason behind this. There is power but there the system is not booting.

It is a connection issue. You have to remove all connection and check them one by one. It right that you are getting power but the fan is not spinning constantly. This means the system is getting rebooted again and again. You can see the front header pins. It is on the corner of board where you connect your power and restart button. Just very that you had connected it properly. Remove all the headers and place them back.

It is due to your power supply. Quad Core CPU needs a 6 pin power connection. Most of the high end psu has a single one. You have to use that to power the processor. You might using a wrong one due to which the cpu is not getting power. Just checkout each and every cable of your psu. There will be a connection which is similar to pci power port. Hook that and done. Your system will start working fine like before.
