MSI Z77A-GD65 + Intel Core i7-3770K wont post

I have assembled a new rig with below components:
    MSI Z77A-GD65
    Intel Core i7-3770K
    MSI N560GTX-TiHawk graphics card
    4 x 2GB corsair vengeance Ram
My problem is that my system is not posting, I have checked out all connections and have made sure that there is nothing wrong with it. I am not able to track out cause of this issue. Is there anyone who can help??

Are you getting any beep sound when you are starting your system?? If yes then just note down the sequence and let me know so that I can have better idea about your case. I mean short beep than long beep and so, these beep sequences can help in tracking down the faulty component.

No I am not getting any beep sound. I start the system, I hear the fans spinning but nothing comes up on the screen. I have tried using other monitor to ensure that there is nothing wrong with current one but Ive got same response with that as well. I am not sure but it seems as if there is something wrong with the board itself.

There are possibilities that you might have picked up a faulty board but before coming to that point I will suggest you to try out below thing’s.

As far as I am aware MSI Z77A-GD65 has integrated gpu, so you can try booting your system without graphic card. If it boots up fine than your graphic card might have turned faulty and you will have to get it replaced.

If it doesn’t, than check out your rams, as you are having 4 x 2GB of ram. Try booting your system with single rams first, if there might be a faulty ram amongst 4 than you will come to know about it.

Check out your psu, if you have some other working psu than you can try using that.

Just check out these things first and let me know what you find.

I have tried booting my system without graphic card but it still doesn’t post
I have checked out all rams individually but my system dint posted with all of them
I have connected other working psu and still no luck
Is there anything else that I need to check out or I should get my board checked????

Since you have checked out your psu, graphic card, ram there is surely something wrong with your board or cpu. If you are having some other working system around you, than you can test them out. I mean you can use some other compatible cpu with your MSI Z77A-GD65, if your system starts posting after that than you have a faulty cpu, If it doesn’t than you have a faulty motherboard.

Intel Core i7-3770K is fine. MSI Z77A-GD65 is the culprit, First I tested MSI Z77A-GD65 with “Intel i5-3570K LGA 1155” from my other working machine and it dint posted. After that I tested out Intel Core i7-3770K in other working machine board and booted up fine.
I was already running late to build up my new rig and now I will have to wait for some more days to get replacement.
