how to get a proper motherboard for my core2duo processor

hi guys my desktop with core2duo processor get in a serious problem , i think its over heated & leads to function un-properly ,today,when i start them,after the full open, it automatically restart & the screen is not come but the cpu is in runing process .
i can't understand what is the problem can any one help me,i already do the RAM in & out & also change the c-mos battery, please help me what to do

Well, what is your full computer specifications, like which ram, which motherboard and all that stuff do you have? When you say your computer restarts, does it also throws any error message on the screen that you could tell us? Are you able to boot till bios, if so then try to load the default settings and then try to boot.
