    star help with identifying connectors on motherboard

    1x IR header
    1x CIR header
    and power fan connector
    what are they on my motherboard ?

    The IR header usually supports an optional wireless transmitting and receiving infrared module. The CIR port/chip is simply capable of operating like a serial port, sending and receiving data. The power fan connector is just for monitoring either the PSU temp, or fan speed and not for actually powering the fan, so it's more of an optional thing if the PSU has the connector. By the way which motherboard do you have?
