Which one is better among Intel Core i7 3770K and 2700K CPU

I want to upgrade my computer system because my from last 5 years its performance is too low. I am planning to upgrade to Intel Core i7 CPU. So I need to upgrade my motherboard and RAM also because older RAM is DDR2 which is not compatible with Core i7. I decided to buy 4x 4 GB corsair voyager RAM and Intel Desktop Board DZ68ZV motherboard series. But I am little bit confuse on processors which is best from Intel core i7 2700K and Intel core i7 3770K. Which processor is more compatible and more powerful among this. Anyone have great knowledge in processors then please help for better selection and give me specification and feature in detail. I also want to know my power supply unit is 750W so should I need to change it?

First I want to say selection of Intel CPU and motherboard is good choice and RAM selection also great. If your power supply is in good condition and working proper than no need to change it and 750 Wattage is enough to run your system. As both CPU is Core i7 series and there is no much difference between both of them. But I recommend you to buy Intel core i7 2700k as per my knowledge and personal experience. I also have same CPU which working from last 3 month without any problem. I give you some important specification and features which are help you for selection of Intel Core i7 2700K.

Core i7 3770k and 2770k both are Intel’s processor but Intel core i7 3770k is more powerful and best in performance as compare to core i7 2700k.
