So, I brought a one new Transcend 1GB RAM DDRII 400MHz. I tried to upgrade RAM but didn?t get the success. System is does not start after upgrading a new RAM. I don?t understand what problem is occurred. Any one please help me what was I did wrong.

Re: MSI PM8PM-V motherboard not working after upgrading RAM

Your board has 2GB Maximum RAM support with DDRII slot of 400-533 MHz FSB. So, Your RAM section as per motherboard specification is correct. So, it is not compatibility issue. I think your ram is not inserted RAM properly. Or your DIMM slot might have any problem. Ensure that the stick you purchased is fine. Remove the old one and fix the new check if your system boots or not.
