BSOD on Gigabyte GA-A55M-DS2 while installing Windows 7

I purchased Gigabyte GA-A55M-DS2 motherboard couple of week ago. Well I am getting frequent BSOD when I am trying to install Windows 7 on my computer. I tried several genuine copies of Windows 7. But it did not worked for me at all. even I tried with updating and reinstalling drivers did not helped me at all.
    Following is system specification
    G.SKILL Value Series 4GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600)
    AMD A8-3850 Llano 2.9GHz Socket FM1 100W
    Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 ST3500413AS 500GB 7200 RPM SATA 6.0Gb/s
    Thermaltake A4022 92mm CPU Cooler
    GIGABYTE GA-A55M-DS2 FM1 AMD A55 (Hudson D2) rev 1.0
    520w antec PSU
Any help to resolve the matter will be appreciated.

I think power supply which you are having did not seems to be great. Also it matters what you have connected with computer when you are trying to install windows. Devices like external usb devices, 2 monitors, DVD drives which is connected through front usb case to the motherboard usb port.

I recommend that you should not connect the things which are really not needed. You should use 1 monitor, keyboard and mouse, 2 gigs ram, cpu, hard drive and place the dvd drive into last sata port and simply set to SATA rather than that of ide. Also take care of the thing that is hard drive is connected with first SATA port. There should not be any overclocking and RAM should be set to appropriate timings and voltage into BIOS.

Well i am suggesting following steps which you can try to resolve the matter of yours.
    • First of all you have to enter into BIOS setup by pressing Del key.
    • Now you have to look for DRAM Configuration and press enter after selecting the same.
    • From DCT's Mode you have to set to ganged or unganged.
    • I let you know that amd procreeosr having better performance when it is unganged and there will not be any visable speed decreases and it will allow you better overclock.

So far I am suggesting to reset CMOS settings and you can do the same by using below mentioned steps.

By pressing DEL key from the keyboard simply enter into BIOS setup.

After that look for the option such as reset the CMOS values to the default setting or load the fail-safe defaults.

As you have selected any of the above mentioned option it will prompt you to whether you are looking to load the value.

Once you have loaded the default value you have to save and exit the setup.

I recommend following quick checks which might help you to resolve the issue.
    • Make sure that your system is properly cooled.
    • Ensure that you have installed latest version of drivers on your computer.
    • Finally if any BIOS update is available simply install the same and see whether it is making any difference into the situation.

BSOD's during windows installation are usually down to a bad DVD/RW or bad RAM with RAM being the most common, hope that helps.
