Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 vs. Intel Core 2 Quad Q9300

I am going to assemble a new computer but I am confused between these two processors: Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 and Intel Core 2 Quad Q9300. Can somebody suggest me that which one is the best between them? If you have any suggestion/information regarding this then please let me know that. I will be thankful to all the replies for this.

I think that the Intel Core 2 Quad Q9300 will be the best option for you. This is much quicker as compared to the Intel Core 2 Duo E8400. I am using the same and so I can tell you this for sure. So just go for the Intel Core 2 Quad Q9300.
