AMD A8-3870K Vs Intel Core i5-2500K

need help to select the one of the best on this both . I am planning to build a normal system for my parents that can be used in a long run and I have narrow down to this 2 CPU . is there any one hete can help me to select the best among this two CPU . I will be really appreciate this
    thanks

AMD APU A8-3870K is distinguished only by its operating frequency slightly higher. Thus, 2.9 GHz on the lower model, here go to 3 GHz. The remaining features there are always four core , no turbo, no function like hyper-threading Intel. The special feature of this model is not, however, the increased clock to 100 MHz over its predecessor in the form of A8-3850 , but its overclocking capabilities. Sun, AMD has equipped the A8-3870K a free multiplier for the processor and graphics clock. This concludes the graphics and processor speed are independently adjustable, and the problems of the first models for overclocking should belong to the A8-3870K of the past.

Re: AMD A8-3870K Vs Intel Core i5-2500K

Intel has put its full potential in Intel Core i5-2500K processors and loaded with features, including new features like the second review of Turbo Boost. Another important feature in order to improve energy efficiency is the inclusion of Enhanced Intel SpeedStep Technology, which now independently adjust the voltage and frequency for maximum energy savings without adversely affecting performance. The real innovation of these processors, and will be a major responsible for increased performance over previous processors are the instructions AVX (Advanced Vector Extension), an evolution of the SSE4 vector data that support up to 256bit and offer improved in yield of up to 40% in some applications.

2500K operations per second that is capable of performing, but suffers slightly in the floating point test. Memory performance has also improved significantly the numbers of bandwidth of the other processors tested, and it shows that Intel has done a good job, as it has managed to reduce latency in a very remarkable. Perhaps with this decrease in latency timings have more influence than before.

Well the Intel Core i5-2500K leaving far behind the AMD A8-3870K. In CINEBENCH things are totally different and it only import the frequency and number of cores, but despite this Sandy Bridge strikes again with all the results, as even in multi-core test almost manages to overcome the X6 1100T of AMD, which is not easy.

Re: AMD A8-3870K Vs Intel Core i5-2500K

The evidence we have been able to overclock with this processor have been limited by the motherboard chipset that allows H67 not increase the multiplier in any way, so we had to settle for seeing what was the maximum we could achieve bus to 2500K, which is challenging because the BCLK of Sandy Bridge is very, very limited. iT is not easy to get to 107MHz, and over the sink do not go to reference voltages and high plate can be the best for overclocking. When we can, rather get a P67 board, we will see what is actually capable of this processor.

Well I suggest Ivy Brdige. The major innovations of the Ivy Bridge CPUs make the 22-nanometer manufacturing process and the 3D transistors technology . This is intended to work much more power-efficient chips than the Sandy Bridge predecessor. In addition, Intel drilled on the HD 4000 integrated graphics core and enhances the overall clock speed.

In addition, the HD 4000 can be controlled independently of each other up to three displays. The video engine has enhanced Intel. You should first rumored to even more, extremely high-resolution 4K video (four times the resolution of full HD) TV, can decode in parallel. The HD 4000 graphics core should work with a base clock of 350 MHz, but available if needed to shoot up to 1,150 MHz.

there is 4 option that I can suggest will be the best in my opinion those are
    1. Intel Core i3-2105 or the Intel Core i3-2125(HD 3000)
    2. Ivy Bridge ( will release soon )
    3. AMD Trinity ( will release soon )
    4. AMD A8-Series A8-3870K

I will go for the Trinity. And it will be probably will arrive shortly and will be ahead of the Llano in all ways most likely the similar price

Well fro cpu you have to ask that what is the purpose of the pc . With the AMD it has the better gpu. Although that would be for gamming and i5 will be the best for everything else . ADM is a weaker cpu plus a good gpu that won't actually provide them any advantage because they won't be taxing the HD3000 anyways. With the intel you have Quick Sync for video encoders and the Intel Insider for streaming HD quality movies which is not present in other . but in the end there is no different which will be that noticeable.
