Well I suggest that you should have the AMD Phenom II X6 1045T or the AMD Phenom II X4 960T processor over the AMD FX-Series FX-6100 . it will be fine for the gaming but there speed will be bit less

the 'FX-6100 on all fronts. Matching it to one of the most performing solutions 990Fx currently on the market, the FX 990 Asrock Fatal1ty Professional, comparing performance with the processor Phenom II X6 1100T and Processors Athlon II X3 and X4 Phenom II, our test was carried out in the following modes.
    1. CPU at default with only 2 cores enabled (given the structure of the FX processor, it is not possible to test single core)
    2. Full CPU Cores with default frequencies
    3. Full CPU Cores, In overclocking.

the Athlon II and Phenom II has almost identical performance. Slightly behind the FX 6100, each pair of cores, share a single floating point unit, the greater propensity to 'overclock the FX 6100, allows it to surpass the Phenom II x6.

Well I thing the AMD FX-Series FX-6100 will be much faster when at in the default clocks in compare to the Phenom 1045t. and if you ask me I will get the FX6100 and then I overclock it to 4 GHz with the default heat sink or will get the better heat-sink and overclock even higher

The FX 6100 is the only processor that will fit in the price gap that Intel has left open. For the price of one (overpriced) i3-2130 you get the FX-6100 CPU, which when it via multiplier high points on the level of a FX-6200 overclocked at least can with the Core i5-2300 to keep up in terms of performance and even at a gaming machine faster than an FX-8150 is because of so many threads, such as offering FX-8150, can hardly benefit from a game.

this microprocessor FX-6100. Architectural features remain unchanged compared to the top range, except for number of cores, which increased from 8 to 6 and smaller operating frequencies. The TDP has also been reduced by 8-core version of the 125W to 95W.

AMD FX-Series FX-6100 is the best that I like to recommend you, its works modest overclock on 4ghz. Got mine running on the at only 1.25v. Just be certain that you get the MS patch and the update Windows for the process. It will be run well that ways. Don’t forget to get the latest drivers

Well I vote goes to the AMD Phenom II X4 960T the purpose is for gaming so you require the FPs ,in addition AVX doesn't matter, go with the chip that has the best performance as well as the ability to unlock to a complete 6 cores. On the modest OC you will be able to get the a good gamming performance that the AMD FX-Series FX-6100 overclocked. In case you are overclocking the AMD Phenom II X4 960T that remember that Thuban and benefits from a FSB boost and multiplier bump. And in fi you will be successful in unlocking a 5th or 6th core after that it distance itself even more
