Requirement of VC++ 2010 Redistributable Package for installation of IPDT

I downloaded IPDT Installer 32Bit 1.42.0.0-13-9.exe which is the latest version. I tried to run it in my PC which has older version of VC++ Redistributable Package. I tried updating it to VC++ 2010 Redistributable Package but the update failed. How do I install IPDT in my system now?

IPDT has an outdated prereq. If you are trying to install 64-bit version of IPDT, then you can install it. There is a file by name IPDT64_Install.msi, you need to run it. This will override the requirement of VC++ 2010 Redistributable Package successfully install and will IPDT.
