Is 1.65V RAM enough for Gigabyte Z68X-UD3H-B motherboard and i7-2700K processor?

Hello friends, I have just founded out suggested RAM for my motherboard memory list and it was Kingston Hyper X memory at 1.65V which is having an approved memory. I have read some information that Sandybridge CPU's do not like anything more 1.5V, is this information correct? Well I am planning to place order for 16GB (4GBX4). Can anyone tell me that I am doing the correct thing or not? Even I am using a low profile RAM to clear the Hyper 212+ CPU Cooler. I have the Gigabyte Z68X-UD3H-B motherboard. I have some read that z68 mobo setups prefer only 3 of the 4 dimm slots that also full, is it correct and also this memory will be fine? Well just wanted to overclock CPU a little only, so it will be causing any problem in memory. Please tell me and suggest what I should do. Thank you.

What you have read it so not at all recommended and if you will doing other thing then it will be voids warranty. Well you just need to have 1.5v Ram for motherboard that’s it, do not do anything else.

I would suggest that you get a CORSAIR Vengeance 16GB (4 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model CML16GX3M4A1600C9B, I suggest you CORSAIR Vengeance because it is having a excellence RAM and low profile with XMP profile. And also u purchase an aftermarket CPU cooler, then low profile will be not at all tension as it will perfect fit with any large cooler. Well the Vengeance Low Profile heat spreaders have a compact height of somewhat 1.03”. They are planned for high-performance systems which are having extra-large CPU coolers, small form factor system builds, or any other space-constrained application where standard Vengeance memory might not fit.

I have a 2600K and the same RAM I recommended for u. Running easy at 4.5GHz with Frio cooler, but I also recommend the one u have chosen, I build 1 PC with that cooler and it Overclocked without problem as well and it cooled fine too.
