What are your AMD SuperPi Scores

Those who are using the AMD processor must be familiar with the AMD superPi. I would like to know the scores of it now. I am getting different kinds of scores as compared to my friend’s score. In SuperPi with a Phenom II x4 970,I get about 19s in 1M test.

As far as I know that AMD superPi used to make test on CPUs of same manufacturer. This test measures the performance of PC but more specifically that of your processor and RAM. This little program simply a calculation of the value PI (3.14159 ...). More powerful your processor is over you will calculate Pi as quickly as possible. For my part i am using 2 different processor of same models and here is what i get.

• Processor: Intel Pentium 4C 3.0 @ 3.6GHz
• Motherboard: Asus P4C800E-dxl
• Chipset: i875P
• RAM: Corsair PC3200 CL2 - Dual 2x512Mo - PAT
• Frq. Ram: 192Mhz
• Timings: 2-3-3-6
• Score: 41 s

• RAM: A-Data - 2x512Mo

I propose a classification of SuperPi scores little change in yard can be easier to get recover. IF you want to get the best score, it would be better to do some optimization

• Close applications and background tasks and so on.
• Set the theme by default
• Settle in control panel / system / advanced tab / performance / and click adjust pout optenir the best performance
• Settle ft. super priority "real time"
• Reboot the PC before the first super pi
• Restart the pc each new super pi (the first is always the best)
• This is a bench the cpu not need to be stable even at 100% of the ram, so we can add to mhz proc and down a bit Timmings

The amount of RAM will not influence the result, unless you go in the ridiculously low. By cons, the frequency of the RAM timings and influences the results. On the AMDs, it's pretty automatic depending on the size: 31-32 sec at 2700 MHz, 33-34 sec at 2600, 34-35 at 2500.
