Will AMD Athlon 64 3000+ processor fit properly on msi k9n neo v3 motherboard?

I am having a k9n neo v3 motherboard which is having AM2 socket and I am willing to put AMD Athlon 64 3000+ processor on the same but then I am not sure if it will be fitting well, is there anyone who have tried out this combination or has an idea about this, any help regarding this will be highly appreciated.

I have checked out the combination that you are willing to use but then I will suggest you not to get the Athlon 64 3000+ processor as it has not been included in the CPU-Support list for k9n neo v3 motherboard, if you want then you can cross check it out on its official site as well.
