Intel core i7 2700k vs i7 3930k

I am looking forward to upgrade my processor as soon as possible but I don’t know which one to choose for. The best thing is my motherboard and all other peripherals support the Intel core I 7 processor. There are lots of things I want to do in this computer like gaming, overclocking etc. Right now I am 2 options and they are:

• Core i7-2700K Sandy Bridge 3.5GHz
• Core i7-3930K Sandy Bridge-E 3.2GHz

I need a good advise.

However if you would like to do more like 3D, graphics design, CAD etc then you might need a little advance one like 3930K. As you know that 3930K is very expensive processor.

Exactly if you are an enthusiast than you must go for the 3930k with no compromising attitude carrying towards.
