No post and No video from MSI 880GMA-E35 (FX) New Build

My friend wanted a new build, so I told him to buy:
    • MSI 880GMA-E35 (FX)
    • AMD FX4100
    • Kingston Value RAM CL7 PC1066

He then put together and applies the power. The CPU fans runs nicely and LED power up on all components where it has but there was no image on the monitor. The monitor is connected to the VGA and/or DVI. No spash, no boot screen, nothing. I tried different kind of connection for monitor but still the same. Swapped the motherboard DVI/HDMI Jumpers, tried older PSU, tried new graphics card assuming that onboard graphics is faulty and more. It is still tempted.

First of all you need to take a look at the motherboard’s BIOS processor and you need to find out the factory BIOS Version. You can check it on the sticker on the BIOS Chip. Also make sure that the BIOS chip is not faulty when you get in hand. If there is a new version BIOS other than factory Version, update it and see what you can get.

I think that you are running BIOS Version vB.20, also known as v11.2(0)]. For this first of all you need to CPU-Support-List for your motherboard model. If the list does not contain your CPU, then I don’t think that you can run it. However the list state that the minimum BIOS Version required for your CPU is vB.3 / v11.3(0). Try it.

If the disk in a way completely inaccessible, we must look towards hardware.
    Are the cables ok?

Will the drive be running when the power is on?

If the disk is properly detected in BIOS?

One idea is to consider the disk to another PC to hang and see what the PC make it, that way you can probably eliminate what causes or culprits. It would also be useful to know a bit more about the run-up to these problems.

Go after following few tricks if it is a major problem:

    • Make sure the power cord is plugged into the socket.
    • Make sure the power cord is connected to the computer
    • Some computers (especially older models) have the back of a 115/230V switch, make sure it is.
    • Make sure the on / off switch back to the core state.
    • Verify that the reset button on the front of the core is stuck (hang). You can check this by pressing it. If not you can press this means that it is tight. You can try to pry with a small screwdriver or paper clip etc.
    • Remove all external cables from your computer, including keyboard, mouse, printer, digital camera, ipod, etc.. Show only the monitor cable and power cable.
    • Make sure your monitor is turned on.
    • Make sure the brightness and contrast of the monitor is set to.

    How old is your motherboard?
Did you try cleaning processor part and slots on the motherboard?
Please note that only the following processors may be treated with an eraser: socket 775, 1155, 1156, 1366 and higher. Other processors such as AMD and older Intel processors have pins, this would break you. In this case you only brush with the toothbrush with isopropyl alcohol.

Reset the CMOS memory. The CMOS memory is a small memory on the motherboard that stores the configuration of your computer. Initialization can be done by changing the position of a jumper or shorting 2 pins or pads on the motherboard with a flathead screwdriver. The exact position of the jumper or the pins and pads vary by motherboard. You can find the exact position in the manual of your motherboard. There is usually at the jumper pins or "CLR CMOS", "CCMOS" or "CLRTC".
