Asus M3A with BIOS 1206 does work with Phenom II X6

Well this is the news that I am getting from a website wherein it is said that Asus M3A with BIOS 1206 would actually work with the Phenom II X6. So just wanted to share this news with you all, I hope that’s informative for you all.

Wow that’s an interesting development that you have shared here and I must have a look at then. Since some months ago Asus released BIOS 2104 for the M3A32-MVP Deluxe boards to support Thuban chips. I did not knew even 1206 can support it. great news guys.

In my case its not working well, I should say that it does work well with the Amd phenom X4 940. But not with the X6, I tired it and I am getting a bios cpu error and it stops responding.

Do check out the bios version perfectly then? Do check if you are having the BIOS 1206 one and in case if you are still getting the error then do try out with the 2104 as well, that is the latest version available now. You would be fine with that.
