Re: Intel released the Rapid Storage Technology 11.0.0.1032

Rapid Storage Technology for Serial ATA controllers and RAID AHCI Intel are finally available for download. I say right away that this is official and WHQL certified drivers. These drivers support the RST 11.0.0.1032 southbridges Intel ICH7, ICH9, ICH10 and the PCH series 5 and 6 as was the case with previous drivers RST 10.x. But now the PCH Series 7 (Panther Point) ie models B75, H77, HM75, HM76, HM77, Q75, Q77, QM77, QS77, UM77, Z75, Z77 and C216 are also part.

These drivers AHCI and RAID RST 11.0 correct some bugs but the official release notes are not yet available. We'll tell you more at that time. It also seems that this version adds support for the Power-Up in Standby (CAN) for hard disks to support version 2 Technology Smart Connect Technology . This allows you to watch out at regular intervals for short periods of time a computer so that certain programs can continue to collect information online

These drivers are always based on the file iastor.sys oriented Windows XP with support vista/7/8 (so no need to install them unless msahci.sys although performance tends to cause random bugs reliability on some configurations). drivers 11.6 11.5 and later are based on two file systems: iastorA.sys and iastorF.sys (also present in RSTe) and directed / optimized windows 7/8 (according to the release notes) and rid logically some "barriers" including in performance and stability by the fact that the drivers can be written without considering the compatibility of Windows XP.

Driver for Intel integrated chipsets Controller SATA, providing performance RAID-arrays, and technology support AHCI, activation of the SSD-Cache Intel Smart Response Technology on the latest chipsets. And once again Intel has for foreign boards based on their old chipsets final version 10.8.0.1003 , but for their own motherboards latest version 11.0.0.1032.

Details of any key innovations in Intel Rapid Storage Technology 11.0.0.1032 is not very sorry, because This is the first driver is the 11th series. It is hoped that there would only support the new chipset series 7x. But the online station-drivers.com found a list of changes from version to 11.0.0.1015 Alpha 11.0.0.1032 Production Version - more than 50 different patches. The driver is installed and running on any motherboard with a supported chipset, proof of which is a screenshot of the Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD5. As can be seen, WHQL-certified present. Driver support for all versions (desktop, mobile, server) controllers in the southern bridges Intel ICH7/ICH9/ICH10 (again without ICH8), and Intel chipsets on the latest series of 5x to 7x.

Absent of the RAID0 trim is very disappointing for me and the Rapid Storage Technology still don’t have the RAID0. so it is No go for me
